Living Well With Mesothelioma support group- next meeting

The next meeting of our support group, for people with mesothelioma and their carers, will be from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Monday 6th March 2017.

The meeting is at the Methodist Central Hall on Oldham Street.

Dr Paul Taylor, of Wythenshawe Hospital, will be giving an update on clinical trials.

The venue has changed since the last meeting. The new venue is the Methodist Central Hall on Oldham Street.

At our February meeting, we are very pleased to announce that our speaker will be Sir Anthony Newman-Taylor of the new National Mesothelioma Centre.

Anthony will be speaking about how the work of the Centre will contribute to the fight to find a cure, and better treatments, for mesothelioma.

Living Well with Mesothelioma Support Group – new venue from February

The Support Group meetings will be moving from Cross Street Chapel to the Methodist Central Hall (Oldham Street, Manchester, M1 1JQ) from February. For a map and directions to the venue click here.

Meetings will still take place on the first Monday of each month (except our May meeting) from 1.30 – 3.30 p.m.

Living Well With Mesothelioma Patient & Carer Support Group

Together with Mesothelioma UK, we have set up a new support group for people with mesothelioma and those who care for them.

The group meets on the first Monday of every month, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, at Cross Street Chapel (Manchester city centre, M2 1NL). For a map and directions, please click here.

The sessions will be an opportunity to meet others who understand what you are going through, and to learn more about mesothelioma and the help that is out there.

Some sessions will offer the chance to try complementary therapies, and to learn techniques to help you cope with the effects of mesothelioma.

Sessions are free of charge, and refreshments are provided.

The dates of the next six sessions will be:

  • 4th January 2016
