Fundraising
GMAVSG would like to take this opportunity to thank all those firms and individuals who have, and still do, organise fundraising events for the group. We would also especially thank those who have raised or donated money in memory of their loved ones.
 Mrs. Christine Marriott’s family organized a golf tournament to raise funds for mesothelioma research in memory of her late husband Gordon. The photo shows Mrs. Marriott’s son Chris and grandson Jack on the left presenting a cheque for £2,500.00.
 Denis Brooks (right) raised £350.00 for GMAVSG cycling 100km sponsored cycle. Pictured with his friend, Alan Grieve, a member of the Mesothelioma Support Group.
 Mark Richardson (left) gives a cheque for £435.00 To Vera Rigby, GMAVSG Trustee, raised at a charity cricket match at Sowerby St. Peter’s Cricket Club. Mark is pictured with friend and wife Pauline on extreme right, who also played in the match.
